Otri has been trained by Daníel Ingi Smárason this winter and summer. They are preparing for 5 gaited competitions and pace competitions for next year. Otri has though participated in some competitions this year. They competed at the Icelandic national championship in Hafnarfjörður in the end of August – in “Gæðingaskeið” or Pace. The first sprint Otri took was good, but was unable to repeat that in the second round. However the speed and his aura give a good sign that the year 2011 will be the year of Otri and Daníel Ingi Smárason.
